It's so sad to see the summer slowly come to an end. It's official - I have 9 days until I go back to school, which is a tad bit nerve-wracking for me, especially since I am starting at a new school where I know no one - and not to mention, it's a hell of a lot bigger than my old one. Hopefully all will be well! Today I wanted to bask in the summertime heat and honestly enjoy a bit of my vacation before it ends - and I did! I spent the day at a local beach, Rio Del Mar, and got my tan on. Unfortunately, I also sustained a horrible sunburn, undoubtedly the worst I've had since I was a child and so I am dwelling in pain and the horrendous tan-lines now. Gah! pismo beach 2013

Hello everyone! I have recently returned from a very brief day trip to Pismo Beach and I took some really cool photos there from the Pier! I went down and spent the day in SLO (San Luis Obispo, for those of you who don't know) which is where my brother lives, though he wasn't there since it is currently summer and he isn't in school. Then I left SLO for Pismo in the afternoon, caught some dinner, and spent some time at the beach. The next day, I went down to Solvang, which is a fairly small town about an hour from Pismo that is constructed as if it were a town in Denmark. It's the Danish capital of California, if I remember correctly, and it was a really cool place to see! I just wanted to share some of this stuff with all of you and I hope you're having a lovely summer (winter for those of you below the equator!)

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, though I'm not sure how many of you actually read my posts! I've been fairly busy, seeing as I was in SoCal for quite a bit of time and preoccupied with prepping for that vacation! I love it down in the LA and OC areas and can definitely see myself living there, especially for college (since I am hoping to get accepted at either UCLA or UCI *fingers crossed*) but I did miss NorCal a lot! I went to a local spot today, the Monterey Fisherman's Wharf, and had a lovely lunch and coffee date.

I wanted to blog about this skirt since I got it from the online store Chicnova for doing a collaboration on Polyvore (which you can view here) along with a pair of adorable socks I am hoping to blog about too! I really liked working with them and so far, they've been the best brand I've collaborated with! I definitely recommend checking out their store!

My first official outfit post! Hopefully I'll get to do more of these more often. Today I went and spent the day in Santa Cruz, which was lovely, and I caught the Farmer's Market, so I got to buy a gorgeous sunflower for my room. Then I went to West Cliff and spent some time watching the surfers, which is always fun!

prada spring/summer 2013 women's advertising campaign.

After watching this video, I was completely enchanted, not only with the pure artistic view of the video itself, but even with the clothing. Prada accomplished what any fashion label would desire to do on an ad campaign perfectly with its floral personification. Aesthetically pleasing, both in the film work and in the fashion itself, the spring/summer 2013 ad campaign was beautifully done.

And not to mention, Sasha Pivovarova is 'the tall poppy' and absolutely perfect. I didn't think anything could make me love her more, but this video definitely did.
